Bell Dedication & Art Workshop

  • Glen Foerd 5001 Grant Avenue Philadelphia, PA, 19114 United States (map)

Artist Bob Dix tells the history of Northeast Philadelphia through his unique approach to illustration. Join Bob and our friends from the Tacony LAB for this special NE 250: Threads of History workshop.

Northeast250: Threads of History is a project of Mural Arts Philadelphia Tacony LAB Community Art Center as we recognize the Semiquincentennial Celebration of the birth of our nation. NE250 is an event series to highlight the places and history found in Northeast Philadelphia alongside the many organizations that steward this history. At each event there will be an opportunity to learn more about the history while participating in community art making.

Bells Across Pennsylvania is a statewide public art initiative presented by America250PA in celebration of the 250th Anniversary of the United States in 2026. Local artists in collaboration with Mural Arts were invited to design and transform three-foot-tall fiberglass bell sculptures, each uniquely interpreted and sponsored by local organizations and individuals.
