Uniquely sited at the confluence of the Delaware River and Poquessing Creek, Glen Foerd is proud to offer outdoor recreational opportunities to the Philadelphia Area.
This season, we will have set days and times for guests to come out and use our boats free of charge.

Open Boating Days at Glen Foerd
We’ll have canoes, rowboats, and kayaks for guests to explore parts of the Poquessing Creek and Delaware River. This activity is open to all ages, though minors must be accompanied by an adult.
The 2026 Open Boating days will be:
Saturday, May 16th, 1-4pm
Thursday, June 4th, 4:30-7:30pm
Sunday, June 28th, 12:30-3pm
Wednesday, July 15th, 2-5pm
Wednesday, July 29th, 1:30-4:30pm
Sunday, August 23rd, 10am-1pm
Saturday, August 29th, 2-5pm
Saturday, September 12th, 2-5pm
Saturday, September 26th, 1-4pm
This is a walk-up, first-come, first-served event. Boat space is limited. Glen Foerd staff will do our best to ensure as many people get out on the water as possible, but we can not make any guarantees.
Events can be canceled on short notice due to weather and river conditions. Please check our website and social media for updates on cancellations.
