Since our founding as a non-profit organization in 1983, Glen Foerd has welcomed visitors—free of charge—to roam the historic grounds and take in some of the most beautiful vistas in Philadelphia. In recent years, we’ve expanded our commitment to the public by introducing a self-guided tour of the estate which provides more historical information than ever before. We have also forged new partnerships that offer art-making and environmental programs to the public. Can you support our efforts?

We’re thrilled to announce the launch of the most ambitious preservation project in our history — a $3.5 million restoration of our Gilded Age mansion along the Delaware River!
This renovation will focus on much-needed structural repairs, including restoring porch columns, repairing windows and doors, reinforcing stucco and masonry, fixing the roof, and rebuilding our iconic cupola. Over half the funds are already secured. We’re calling on our community to help us raise the remaining $1.5 million to complete this critical phase and continue to restore and preserve this landmark for future generations.
