Programs Overview

Artists in Residence

The Glen Foerd Artist in Residence Program invites artists to explore and work within the historic grounds of Glen Foerd on the Delaware. This initiative provides dedicated time and space for artists to engage with the estate's natural surroundings and architectural heritage, fostering a creative environment for exploration and artistic development. Through this residency, artists have the opportunity to connect with the local community and share their work through exhibitions and public events. Our annual application is currently open for submissions through October 21st! Generous support from the National Endowment for the Arts has expanded our residency to accept three artists, and provide a stipend of $4,000 to each artist for labor and materials.

Boating

Uniquely sited at the confluence of the Delaware River and Poquessing Creek, Glen Foerd is proud to offer outdoor recreational opportunities to the Philadelphia area.

This season, Glen Foerd will be offering two types of boating experiences: Open Boating Days and Public Kayak Excursions.
