Discover the botanical art of kokedama, a traditional Japanese gardening technique in which a plant's root system is encased in a ball of soil, wrapped in moss, and secured with string.
In this workshop, participants will learn how to create and care for their own kokedama using soil, moss, and a live plant. No prior gardening experience is necessary! We will provide step-by-step guidance, and all materials are included.
By the end of the workshop, you'll take home a unique botanical arrangement to add to your home, office, or give as a gift! This horticultural art form is not only relaxing but also allows you to get creative and connect with nature.
This event is appropriate for adults and children 12+. Reach out to Colleen at cwinslow@glenfoerd.org with any questions you may have.
