| The Art Gallery Restoration Project is the first comprehensive restoration plan that has been completed since the donation of Glen Foerd to the Torresdale community. Through the implementation of many twenty-first century safety and technological devices, the art gallery has been restored to its former splendor. |
| Every object in the collection was placed in storage before work commenced. The original skylights were then removed, and replaced with state-of-the-art glass, which is designed to provide protection against harmful ultraviolet rays. Moreover, the louvers on the skylights are now able to be operated electrically for improved ventilation. |

| The laylights were removed, restored and replaced. Their beauty and artistry may now be fully appreciated. |

The wallcovering was exchanged for fire retardant fabric with the same tree of life motif. All painted surfaces were replastered and repainted using exact color schemes. |
The outdated electrical wiring and outlets have been brought up to current standards. The electrical fixtures have been retrofitted with modern parts, yet their original appearance has been maintained. |
The floors have been skillfully sanded and refinished.
| The andirons in the fireplace were repaired and polished to reflect their original magnificence. |
| Finally, the gallery was reinstalled with great care, and scholarly attention was given to the interpretation of our treasured collection. |
