- On March 6, 2010 at 9:30 a.m, Glen Foerd on the Delaware, a historic
riverfront estate, will proudly host Al Giannantonio and his presentation
on Baldwin Locomotive Works and the Pennsylvania Railroad. Mr. Giannantonio,
a former employee of The Baldwin Lima Hamilton Corporation (formerly
known as The Baldwin Locomotive Works) is a member of Pennsylvania
Railroad Technical & Historical Society. His presentation will include
the development of motive power in the railroad industry and also
the history of Baldwin and its connection with the Pennsylvania Railroad.
This presentation is free and open to the public.

- The Glen Foerd Evening Tour series continues. On the third Tuesday
of each month, until June, join us for an opportunity to take in the
breathtaking views and rich history of Glen Foerd on the Delaware.
The tour will include areas of the mansion such as the formal dining
room, drawing room, sun porch, library, art gallery, bedrooms and
rathskellar. In addition to experiencing the art, architecture and
furnishings of yesteryear, you will gain interesting information about
the history of Glen Foerd, the community of Torresdale and the city
of Philadelphia from our engaging tour guides.
Admission for the tour is $8.00; tour passes may be used by

- Lunch with the Easter Bunny

11:00 am – 3:00 pm
- Hippity Hop to Glen Foerd on the Delaware where you will have the
chance to lunch with the Easter Bunny and take part in our annual
Easter Egg Hunt. Bring your basket to collect the eggs and your camera
to capture the moment.
Tickets are $20.00 per person and include a box lunch, entertainment
and prizes. Payment can be made in cash, by check or credit card.
